K Chen Engineering as the civil engineer teamed up with W. O. Neuhaus Architects has converted this Houston icon into low-income live/work spaces for artists. The project worked closely with archaeologists, cit and state historical commissions, artist groups, and the neighboring community re respectfully preserve the hospital and grounds it rests upon while providing much-needed housing and stimulating the art movement in Houston
